Difícil GP británico para los pilotos de Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3
Niccolo Antonelli completa la carrera en Silverstone en la decimosexta posición, mientras que Bo Bendsneyder es golpeado por otro piloto en la penúltima vuelta.

El equipo de Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3 no pudo repetir el éxito del año pasado en Silverstone este domingo por la tarde. Fue un duro día de carrera para Niccolo Antonelli y Bo Bendsneyder, y sus resultados no fueron lo que se esperaba después de una buena sesión de calificación. Antonelli -no se sentía 100% en forma- terminó dieciséis, mientras que Bendsneyder se estrelló con dos vueltas restantes después de ser golpeado por otro piloto, cuando estaba en décimo.
A partir de la segunda fila, Niccolo Antonelli salió de la línea bien, quedando en la quinta posición después de la vuelta de apertura. El italiano estuvo en la parte delantera durante las primeras 3 vueltas, hasta que comenzó a sentirse físicamente débil. Poco a poco dejó caer la orden en el grupo líder de 23, para finalmente terminar decimosexto.
Bo Bendsneyder fue desafortunadamente uno de los protagonistas en un incidente al final de la carrera. También en el grupo delantero grande, el holandés estaba trabajando su manera a través del Top 10 cuando fue golpeado en la vuelta 16 de la penúltima vuelta. El incidente obligó a Race Direction a mostrar la bandera roja y cortar la carrera una vuelta corta.
Después de 12 rondas de la temporada, el Campeonato del Mundo de Moto3 pasa al próximo evento en dos semanas. Será una carrera en casa para Antonelli, en el circuito de Misano Marco Simoncelli.

«La verdad es que hoy en la carrera me sentí muy cómodo con la moto y por eso podría estar ahí arriba en las primeras vueltas, sin embargo, el problema de hoy fue mi condición física. Todavía no me siento bien y tuve que hacer una Gran esfuerzo para mantener mi ritmo.Con los cambios de dirección aquí estaba muy cansado y que no me permitió atacar y ir duro en el gas como los demás.Me siento mal por estar en esta situación y tenemos que mirar Cómo puedo trabajar para que no vuelva a suceder, ahora tenemos que olvidarnos de esta carrera, entrenar duro y tratar de hacerlo bien en mi GP de casa «.

«En general, la carrera de hoy en general fue difícil, luchábamos con más de veinte jinetes en un grupo, y eso nunca es fácil. Lo positivo es que siempre estuvimos en el Top 10, así que fue una buena carrera y me sentí cómodo con la bicicleta.

Difficult British GP for Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3 riders
Niccolo Antonelli completes race at Silverstone in sixteenth position, whilst Bo Bendsneyder is hit by another rider on the penultimate lap.
08/27/2017 – SIlverstone Circuit, Great Britain
The Red Bull KTM Ajo Moto3 team were not able to repeat last year’s success at Silverstone this Sunday afternoon. It was a tough race day for Niccolo Antonelli and Bo Bendsneyder, and their results were not what had been expected after a good qualifying session. Antonelli –not feeling 100% fit– finished sixteen, whilst Bendsneyder crashed with two laps remaining after being hit by another rider, when up in tenth.
Starting from the second row, Niccolo Antonelli got off the line well, remaining in fifth position after the opening lap. The Italian was up at the front during the first 3 laps, until he began to feel physically weak. Little by little he dropped down the order in the 23-strong lead group, to finally finish sixteenth.
Bo Bendsneyder was unfortunately one of the protagonists in an incident at the end of the race. Also in the large front group, the Dutchman was working his way through the Top 10 when he was hit at Turn 16 of the penultimate lap. The incident forced Race Direction to show the red flag and cut the race one lap short.
After 12 rounds of the season, the Moto3 World Championship moves on to the next event in two weeks’ time. It will be a home race for Antonelli, at the Misano Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
